Read More	Pine Bluff Commercial, Monday, June 18, 1951, Page 8: Obit.—Funeral services were held at 2 this afternoon from the Sulphur Springs Methodist church for Mrs. Margaret Missouri Watson, age 72, of Sulphur Springs, who died at 11:30 Saturday night in the Davis Hospital. She had been in ill health for the past several years and her condition had been considered critical for the past two weeks. Rev. R. H. Cannon, assisted by Rev. Desmond Castleberry, conducted the services. Mrs. Watson, a life-long resident of Arkansas, was born in 1879 in Monroe county, a daughter of the late Rev. R. H. and Hattie E. Poynter. She came to Sulphur Springs in 1900 from Eudora and had made Sulphur Springs her home since that time. She was married in 1901 to the late Ben Watson. Mrs. Watson was a member of the Sulphur Springs Methodist church. Her survivors include: Five sons, Bennie, Thomas, Lone, David and Wesley Watson, all of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Divine of Sulphur Spring and Mrs. Gean McDonald of Sheridan; one brother, L. D. Poynter of Pine Bluff; four sisters, Mrs. Mamie Henry of Redfield, Mrs. J. W. Graves and Mrs. L. C. Smith of Pine Bluff and Mrs. W. E. Gilmore of Tyler, Texas; eight grandchildren and two great-grand children. Active pallbearers were: Joe Bailey, Virgil Taylor, Lavon Ramick, O. B. Burns, Woodrow West and John Whitteaker. Honorary pallbearers were: Laclead Ferguson, Martin O’Connell, B. L. Ross, Henry Petty Joe Williams, Walter Carey, Earnest Crossett, Vinson Green, Silas Tidwell, Walter Johnson, Willie Ramick, Bob Taylor, Ewell Spurlock, Oma Lowman, Chester Woodfield, A. J. McDowell, Robert May, Donald Ramick, W. A. West, John Ramick and _omer Petty. Burial was in Fitzhugh Cemetery with the South Funeral Home in charge. _omer can’t read original paper
