They were the parents of Austin, Ray, Frank, Eva, Blanche, Hazel, and Helen. Dec 4, 1929 - Carroll Times - Mrs. James Fitzsenry died at her home, First and West streets, Sunday evening, Dec. 1, 1929, after an illness which had its beginning in January, 1925. Although ill practiclly five years, she was patient and uncomplaining. When in health she was an energetic, capable woman, who took keen delight in life's activities. Being strong in body and alert in mind, she conducted her home in a systematic, intelligent manner, and found time for many of life's little pleasantries. Always courteous and friendly and possessed with a charming personality, she made friends readily. When ill health fastened itself upon her, she accepted the Inevitable with the same courageousness of spirit which she had manifested all her life. In January, 1925, she underwent an operation at Rochester, Minn., and so serious was her condition that for many weeks It was feared she would not live. She rallied, however, but since that time had been an invalid. During the last week of her life she failed rapidly. Mrs. Fitzsenry, as Margaret Murphy, was born at Dixon, Illinois, June 8, 1863. She lived there until 12 years old, when she moved with her parents to Carroll county. She married James Fitzsenry at Breda February 22, 1887. They established their home on a farm near Breda, where they lived until 1920, when they bought their comfortable home in this city. The seven children born to Mr. and Mrs. Fitzsenry are: Austin Fitzsenry, Breda; Ray Fitzsenry, Schaller; Frank Fitzsenry, Maple River; Mrs. Hazel Ebner, Heron Lake, Minn.; Mrs. Helen Ebner, Heron Lake, Minn.; Blanche and Eva, at home. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren. Mr. Fitzsenry died September 10, 1926. Mrs. Fitzsenry is also survived by three brothers and three sisters: John Murphy and Michael Murphy, Carroll; James Murphy, Lohrvllle; Mrs. John Egan, Dunlap; Mrs. George Egan, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Mrs. William Cooney, Russell, Minn. Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph church this morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. M. Bradley officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. Besides being a member of the St. Joseph's church, Mrs. Fitzsenry was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and of the Married Ladies Sodality of St. Joseph's church.
