She was united in marriage to Roy Shandy March 6, 1918. To this union was born two sons, Clarence of Manhattan and Norman. She was preceded in death by her son, Norman in 1943 and by her husband in September 1958. Survivors include one son, Clarence and wife Dorothy of Manhattan, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; also one brother, John Yenni and Mrs. Yenni of Wakefield. Mrs. Shandy was a member of the Methodist Church at Wakefield and of the Rebekah Lodge, also of Wakefield. Funeral services were held at the Mercer Funeral Home at Wakefield on March 9, with Reverend Tapp officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Kenneth Visser and Mrs. Dean Otto with Mrs. Mary Otto at the organ. Pallbearers were Dallas Luttman, Vernon Yenni, Jack Thurlow, Earl Schweitzer, Fred Schweitzer and James Shandy. Interment was in the Highland Cemetery at Wakefield.
