Description	:	Marguerite Helen Enright was born on December 20, 1905, in Tama County, the daughter of Dennis Patrick and Catherine (O'Connor) Enright. She graduated from Tama High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. She was united in marriage with Edward Vitek in Tama County. Marguerite was the first teacher at Pleasant Hill School in Marshalltown, Iowa, retiring in 1970. She was a school volunteer at the Marshalltown Area Catholic School until she was 90, a member... Read More	Marguerite Helen Enright was born on December 20, 1905, in Tama County, the daughter of Dennis Patrick and Catherine (O'Connor) Enright. She graduated from Tama High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. She was united in marriage with Edward Vitek in Tama County. Marguerite was the first teacher at Pleasant Hill School in Marshalltown, Iowa, retiring in 1970. She was a school volunteer at the Marshalltown Area Catholic School until she was 90, a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Marshalltown; and a member of the St. Henry Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed world travel, reading, and gardening. Marguerite, a resident of 605 Garfield St., Gladbrook, formerly of Marshalltown, died December 18, 2004, at Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook. Marguerite is survived by her son Paul (Deb) Vitek, Knoxville; grandson Matt (Sheila) Vitek, Marshalltown; step-granddaughter Kara (Steve) Swaim, Marshalltown; and 2 step-grandchildren, all of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation was Tuesday, December 21, 5 - 8 p.m. at Pursel Davis Funeral Home, Marshalltown, with a rosary at 6 p.m. and prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, December 22, at St. Henry's at 10:30 a.m, with Fr. Louis Jaeger officiating. Pallbearers were Mike Doyle, Gene Holubar, Pat McLean, Tom Harmsen, Todd Harmsen, and Jim Harmsen. Groups in attendance were members of St. Henry's and the St. Henry's Altar and Rosary Society. Private family burial followed.
