Read More	LYNN, MARGUERITE—Marguerite Lynn was born to John T. Limback and Nora B. Roberts Limback on April 2, 1897, at Shickley, and passed away on March 13, 1984, at the Fillmore county Hospital, at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 11 days. She was one of three children in the family. Marguerite attended grade school in Shickley and completed her education at Geneva, graduating with the Class of 1915. After attending business college at Hutchinson, Kas., she was employed with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. She was married to Clarence Stretton and to this union a daughter, Betty Jean, was born. She later worked in the Fillmore county Clerk’s office. Marguerite was married to Bert A. Lynn on Geneva on April 7, 1926, at Seward, and to them two children Marilyn and Bert, were born. She was a charter member of the Fillmore County Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the United Church of Christ and women’s Fellowship, O.K. Kensington, Geneva Women’s club, Eastern Star, V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliary. She held many offices in these organizations. She enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Heritage of Geneva Nursing Home for many years. Among her many hobbies were crocheting, latch looking and playing bridge. Although confined to a wheelchair for the last few years, she lived a full and useful life. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy. She was preceded in death by the parents and husband, Bert A. Lynn, son-in-law Truman K. Clark and an infant grandson. She is survived by Betty Jean Clark and Bert J. Lynn of Geneva, Marilyn and husband Clair of Ohiowa, a sister, Eva A. Farrar of Maywood, brother, Harold Limback of San Marcos, Cal.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Geneva on March 17 with the Rev. Charles Schepel officiating. Mrs. Willard Foster played “In the Garden” and “Amazing Grace” which were tow of Marguerite’s favorite hymns. Pallbearers were her nine grandsons, John and Richard Clark, David Freeberg, William Mommens, William Nelson, Clair Christiancy III, Robert Kohler, Larry Heath and Daniel Vavra. Interment was in the Geneva public cemetery. The Nebraska Signal March 22nd, 1984 page 12.
