Description	:	Stratford Courier February 28, 1907 Monday evening, Feb. 18th, at the family home on the Tim Mahoney farm in Harrison Township, eleven miles northeast of Boone, occurred the death of Mary C., wife of Albert Borg. She had been ill but a week and her sudden death was a sad blow to her family and friends. Mary C. Gustafson was born November 3, 1874, and was in her 33rd year at the time of her death. Read More	Stratford Courier February 28, 1907 Monday evening, Feb. 18th, at the family home on the Tim Mahoney farm in Harrison Township, eleven miles northeast of Boone, occurred the death of Mary C., wife of Albert Borg. She had been ill but a week and her sudden death was a sad blow to her family and friends. Mary C. Gustafson was born November 3, 1874, and was in her 33rd year at the time of her death. On November 6, 1895, she was united in marriage to Albert Borg. They resided on a farm near Stratford for a number of years and a year ago moved to the Mahoney farm, where they have made many warm friends whose heartfelt sympathy goes out to the bereaved parents and motherless children of which there are five. The funeral was held Thursday morning at ten o'clock from the home to the Methodist Church at Swede Bend near Stratford, burial in the Swede Bend Cemetery. Mrs. Borg was buried in a beautiful white casket and was dressed in her bridal robe, with wreath and veil. She has been a constant member of the Swedish Lutheran Church for many years and was a devoted Christian woman.
