Read More	Nemaha, Nebraska Newspaper The body of Mrs. M. H. Crother, deceased, arrived in Nemaha Sunday morning. Oliver Crother came through from Nevada City, California, with the body. The funeral services were held at the Episcopal church at 3 o'clock p. m. Monday, August 14th. Rev. E.S. Murphy, of Auburn, preached the sermon. A large number of our citizens were present to pay the last tribute of respect to a departed friend. Mrs. Crother was born near Cornwall, England, June 9, 1833. Died at Nevada City, California, August 6, 1899, being 66 years, 1 month and 27 days old. She came to America when quite small, finally coming to Nemaha in 1857, and has made this her home ever since. She has been a member of the Episcopal church since quite young. She leaves three children - Mrs. J. L. Melvin, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, John E. Crother, of Nemaha, and Oliver Crother, of Nevada City, California; Mrs. G. N. Sanders, who was killed in a runaway accident in December, 1895, was also a daughter of the deceased. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Emma Kistle, of Nevada City, California, at whose home she died. Her sickness and death were caused principally by disease contracted by too close attention and never failing watchfulness over her sister, Mrs. Heywood who died on June 10. Another Obituary Death of Mrs. Crother Mrs. W, (M.) H. Crother, a native of England aged 66 years, died yesterday at one o'clock p. m. at the home of her sister, Mrs. William H. Kistle of this city. Death resulted from heart disease. The body will be embalmed and shipped tomorrow to her former home at Nemaha, Neb., her son Oliver who is a farmer in Wolf district, this county, accompanying it. Mrs. Crother had made a practice of coming to Nevada City annually for several years past, returning to her Nebraska home each summer. She had been here on the present trip since early last winter. She was a widow and besides the son here, leaves a son residing at Nemaha and a daughter whose home is in Oklahoma, Indian Territory.
