Description	:	Obituary Nelson Marie Anderson, daughter of Andrew and Johannah Anderson, was born in Lonstrup, Denmark,on March 12, 1853. She came to the vicinity of Sutton,on December 2, 1879,and married James Peter Nelson the following day. They started housekeeping on his homestead nine miles north-west of Sutton where they continued to live until 1915 when they retired from the farm. To this union there came eight children, Nels A. Mr. Nelson passed away June 13, 1929, after nearly fifty years of married life. Marie Anderson was confirmed in the Lutheran Church during her girlhood in Denmark and continued in this faith a lifetime. She was diligent to rear all her family in this faith. There also survive her 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She drifted away into an untroubled sleep on Sunday night, July 10, 1949, at the age of 96 years, three months, and 28 days. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 14, at 2:30 p m. in the Methodist church in Sutton, with Norman Crounce, pastor of the Methodist church in Saronville, officiating. Joan Kohler sang " Jesus Savior Pilot Me" and " In The Garden" with Mrs. Wayne Willey at the organ. Arrangements were in charge of Kohlers Mortuary and internment was in Sutton Cemetery.
