Description	:	Mrs. Reiners, 86, Dies After 1 Year Illness Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Reiners, 86, were conducted Saturday morning, April 13 at Hengstler's Chapel. Officiating were John Beth and Ralph Miller, ministers of Mrs. Reiner's choice. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery beside her husband. Pallbearers, nephews, were Albert, Arnold, Harvey and Harold Doerr of Bloomfield and Norris Peters of Creighton. Mrs. Reiners died at Lundberg Memorial Hospital April 10 after an illness of about a year. Marie Doerr, daughter of Philip and Elizabeth Doerr, was born at Central City on April 16, 1887. At an early age she came to Knox County with her parents and lived on a farm east of Creighton. On Oct. 28, 1914 she was united in marriage to Henry Reiners. They lived on a farm near her parents' place until 1958, when they retired and moved into Creighton. Mr. Reiners died Oct. 16, 1965. They had no children, although they reared George Robert Thompson, now of Laurel, from a young boy to manhood. She is survived by one brother, George J. Doerr.
