She had been in failing health the past two years. Funeral services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Monday at the Gass Funeral home in Columbus and at 2 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran church, Shell Creek. Mrs. Kluck, the former Marie Heibel, daughter of John and Anna Asche Heibel, was born in Platte county June 18, 1878 and received her education in the rural schools of Bismark township. She lived in Platte and Colfax counties all her life. On Oct. 20, 1903, she was married to Adolph Kluck at St. John's Lutheran church, Shell Creek. She was a lifetime member of St. John's church, hvaing been baptized and confirmed there. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Mrs. Elvin (Irene) DeBower of Schuyler; two sons, Edwin of Richland and Raymond of Schuyler; one brother, Otto Heibel of Columbus; five sisters, Mrs. Henry Hoppe, Mrs. Alma Heibel, Mrs. Bertha Greiner and Mrs. Fred Zabel, all of Columbus, and Mrs. Robert Steppat of Linwood; and five grandsons. Mrs. Kluck was preceded in death by an infant son; her parents; two brothers, John and Louis Heibel; her twin sister, Mrs. John Saalfeld, and two other sisters, Sophie and Minnie Heibel.
