Description	:	Everybody in the family called her Granny and I remember her mainly either being in the kitchen or on her front porch. Her and Grandpa had a well and as soon as anybody pulled up, Grandpa would get the bucket of water off the porch and draw a fresh bucket from the well. They always kept a bucket with a dipper in it on the porch. That was the coldest, sweetest water I have ever had! My Momma was raised down the road from Granny and Grandpa and she said she would sneak down to their house and Granny would give her a biscuit with sugar in it and she would sneak back home. They didn't get very many things that were store-bought so that took the place of candy. That is the reason that all Granny wanted anybody to give her for Christmas was chocolate covered cherries. She would hide them under her bed and make them last all year! "The Good Old Days!"
