Read More	Marilyn Lorraine McCue Howes January 20, 1944 - December 27, 2020 Resident of Walnut Creek, CA Marilyn Howes, daughter of Thomas and Lorraine McCue was born on January 20th, 1944 in La Jolla, California. She grew up in San Francisco, attended Notre Dame High School and City College of San Francisco. In 1963, Marilyn met the love of her life, Paul Howes. Their love story began in Pacifica, California where they resided for 18 years. During this time, Marilyn gave birth to their four daughters and devoted her full time efforts towards caring for her family and home. She generously volunteered her time at her children's schools, as well as various activities. In 1982 Paul and Marilyn purchased their dream home in Walnut Creek, California where Marilyn became an avid walker and a passionate, skilled gardener. Marilyn had the gift of finding beauty in the simplest of things. She was incredibly creative and talented with everything she did, making the lives of her family magical. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed the special times they shared together. Whether crafting, baking, or taking walks together, each moment was wonderful and special memories were created. She generously hosted many beautiful holiday events, enjoyed by her family and friends. Traveling was a passion that she was able to enjoy locally and internationally with her husband and friends. Of all of Marilyn's accomplishments, her greatest was her family and the 57 wonderful years of marriage to her husband, Paul. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Thom and Lorraine McCue and grandson, Dakota. She is survived by her loving husband Paul Howes; daughters Janice Labrado (Joe), Michele Momich (Joe), Linda Schutter (Jeremy), Jennifer Camp (Mike); grandchildren Cheyenne, Savanna, Jessica, Keith, Morgan, Joseph, Tommy, Tristan, Logan and Autumn; brother Thom McCue (Linda). A celebration of life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by the American Cancer Society in Marilyn's name.
