The son of William and Lillian (Waldron) Orr. He Married Helen Regdon April 14, 1915 at Council Bluffs, Iowa. They farmed near Council Bluffs until 1929 when they moved to the Ypsilanti area to farm. Orr was born Dec. 19, 1893, at Missouri Valley, Iowa. The son of William and Lillian (Waldron) Orr. He Married Helen Regdon April 14, 1915 at Council Bluffs, Iowa. They farmed near Council Bluffs until 1929 when they moved to the Ypsilanti area to farm. She died in 1963. He continued to farm and married Louis Hoger in 1966 at Jamestown. They retired in 1974. In 1986 he became a resident of Hi-Acres manor. He was a charter member of Stutsman County Farm Bureau, a life member of Jamestown Elks, and a former member of Flying Farmers. He served on the Corwin Township board for many years and was one of the first school bus drivers in Ypsilanti. Survivors include his wife; five sons and five daughters-in law, Meredith, "Bud" and Viona, and Francis and Doris, all of Jamestown, Floyd and Ellen, and Clifford and Valeria, all of Ypsilanti, and Paul and Delores, East Grand Forks, Minn; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Fern and Otto Allrich, and Vonnie and Darrel Entzimenger, all of Jamestown, and Maruoria and Charles B. Davis, Ypsilanti; two stepsons and two stepdaughters-in-law, Edward and Wonda Matthiesen, and Marvin and Sharon Matthiesen, all of Seattle, a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Helen and Charles Mossington, Sedro Woley, Wash; 56 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren and 6 G great-grandchildren; and a sister, Myrtle Jeffers, Torrance, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, three sons, a daughter, a half-brother and two sisters. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Concordia Lutheran Church, with the Revs, Henry Friedrich and Bernard Pfau officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
