Description	:	MARION EARL BROWN DIES Marion Earl Brown, one of the twin sons of Francis Marion and Elizabeth Goldsmith Brown, was born near Brooks, Iowa, May 7, 1900. He passed away June 10, 1973 at Murphy Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa, after a long illness, at the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 3 days. He attended rural school in Adams County and lived his entire life there except for two years in Taylor County and one year in Council Bluffs. Read More	MARION EARL BROWN DIES Marion Earl Brown, one of the twin sons of Francis Marion and Elizabeth Goldsmith Brown, was born near Brooks, Iowa, May 7, 1900. He passed away June 10, 1973 at Murphy Memorial Hospital, Red Oak, Iowa, after a long illness, at the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 3 days. He attended rural school in Adams County and lived his entire life there except for two years in Taylor County and one year in Council Bluffs. On November 15, 1922, he was married to Florence Esther Everett at Nodaway, Iowa. He and his wife celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on November 15, 1972. To this union were born two children, Paul Lavern Brown, living at home and Carrie Elizabeth Hulsebus of Council Bluffs, Iowa. His entire life was spent in farming nearly all of which was in Adams County with the exception of two years in Taylor County. Earl became a member of the MethodistChurch as a young man. Survivors include his wife, Florence; his son, Paul Brown; and his daughter, Carrie Hulsebus, his son-in-law, Ed Hulsebus. Also surviving are his twin brother, merle Brown of Nodaway, Iowa, a brother, Walter Brown and nis sister, Annie Smith, both of Corning, Iowa. Also a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church at Nodaway, Iowa conducted by Rev. Eldon Haworth of Villisca with burial in Nodaway Cemetery. Mrs. Ruth Johnson was organist, Bob Dunn, Sr., soloist. Casket bearer were James Haley, Raymond Knudson, Earl Goldsmith, Lynn Lucas, Malcolm Shirley, Gail Hampel.
