Survivors include 10 sons, Francis Flax and his wife, Carmen, Salina, Fred Flax and his wife Jeanette, Ransom, James Flax and his wife Carol, Wichita, Eugene Flax and his wife, Theresa, Hays, Norbert Flax and his wife Loretta, Ransom, Richard Flax and his wife Nancy, WaKeeney, Cletus Flax and his wife Pat, Brownell, Michael Flax, topeka, Kenneth Flax and his wife Denise, Ransom, and Myron Flax and is wife Karen, WaKeeney; five daughters, Doris Estes and her husband, Russell, Topeka, Theresa Borkenhagen, Edgerton, WI, Alice Fox and her husband David, Salina, Margaret Santos and her husband Joaquin, Wichita, and Bernadette Taylor her her husband Rodney, McCracken; eight brothers, Elmer Friess, PA, Donald Friess, Dodge City, Lewis Friess, Ness City, Warren Friess, Hays, Fred Friess, Hays, Harold Friess, Topeka, Dan Friess, Spearville; seven sisters, Laurene Marvin, La Crosse, Sister M Janice Friess, Wichita, Anna Mae Ferguson, Lebanon, MO, Rosella McLain, ransom, Mary Frances Flax, Ransom, Janice Hornung, Prairie Village; 39 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers, Cletus, Eugene and Bernard Fress. Services will be at 10 a.m.Monday at St Aloysius Catholic Church, Ransom, with Father Jason Borkenhagen and Father Henry Hildebrandt officiating; burial in the church cemetery. Parish visit will be at 7 pm today at the church. Visitation will be from 10 am to 4 pm today at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, and prior to the vigil service today and until 10 am Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie, Dodge City, Ness County Home Health or the church.
