Marjorie departed this life at the age of 66 on March 5, 1980 in Pueblo, Colorado. Marjorie was united in marriage to Leonard Alexander Schmitt on Nov. 27, 1933. Marjorie and Leonard had four children: Rosemary, Lewis, Alan and Nancy. Marjorie and Leonard taught their children at an early age about the Christian faith, and saw to it that their children were part of the Sunday services that they held in their home every week. Marjorie and Leonard both believed in a simple, yet fulfilling life. Most important to Marjorie were her husband, her children and her faith. Marjorie died on March 5, 1980 in Eads, CO at the age of 66. She is survived by her husband Leonard, her four children and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Marjorie was laid to rest at the old Howell Family Farm Cemetery in Rural Kiowa County just 10 mls. Northwest of Eads, CO.
