Judith Johnson officiating. Burial will be at BluffView Cemetery. Marjorie Rasmussen was born May 15, 1917 in Lincoln County to Andrew M. and Josephine (Rommereim) Thorson. Marjorie graduated from Nettleton College, Sioux Falls. On Dec. 7, 1940 she married L.W. "Bill" Rasmussen in Beresford. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermillion. Organizations that she belonged to were the Red Hat Society, Sanford Vermillion Hospital Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary and other civic groups. Survivors include her husband, Bill of Vermillion; three sons, William Dennis of Bluffton, SC, Gene Lee and Craig Allan, both of Vermillion; and nine grandchildren.
