Read More	Marjorie Lucy Clark Murrow was born, at rural Altoona on September 8, 1906, a twin, and one of five children born to Noyes and Lucy Clark, and lived in the local area all her life. She was a graduate of the elementary education course at Drake University in Des Moines. On February 14, 1928, she was united in marriage to Harry Murrow and became his helpmate in their farm life and the raising of their four children(living). Harry and Marjorie spent over 56 years together husband and wife. They moved to the farm east of Bondurant in March of 1938, where she lived the last 46 years of her life. Marjorie had not been ill, and early on Sunday morning, March 11, 1984, God granted her desire, which she had mentioned several times, that when her time would come to depart this life, she might go peacefully in her sleep. Preceding her in death were her twin brother, Maurice Lyman in 1913, and her infant sister, Betty Jean in 1922. Survivors include her husband, Harry; two daughters; two sons; a sister, Enna Taylor of Mitchellville; a brother, Ralph Clark of Altoona; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
