Description	:	Marjory Ann (Linsenmeyer) Dorn, 78, of Blue Springs was called home to her Lord on Saturday morning, February 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 14, 1941 in Beatrice and was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice. She attended country school until the 8th grade and then graduated from Holmesville High School in 1958. After graduation she worked for Farm Bureau Insurance in Lincoln. Read More	Marjory Ann (Linsenmeyer) Dorn, 78, of Blue Springs was called home to her Lord on Saturday morning, February 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 14, 1941 in Beatrice and was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice. She attended country school until the 8th grade and then graduated from Holmesville High School in 1958. After graduation she worked for Farm Bureau Insurance in Lincoln. Later she obtained her real estate license. On July 17, 1960 she married Roland Dorn at St. John Lutheran Church and they lived in Lincoln before moving to Adams in 1965 and then to Blue Springs in 1970. Marjory had worked at various places before being the sales rep for the Omaha World Herald for 23 years until her retirement. She was a former member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wymore and now a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice. Shortly after her retirement she became afflicted with a lower motor neuron disease. She enjoyed cooking for many family get-togethers, gardening, canning, and raising chickens which she loved watching the chickens. A person never left her house hungry. She also liked her 30 rose bushes, family reunions, and her 2010 heritage trip to Germany. In 2012 when she was finally confined to a wheelchair it did not slow her down. She was still busy having meals prepared, canning and gardening. She loved being outside and sharing her gifts with neighbors and family. Survivors include two sons, Mark (Lori) Dorn of Blue Springs, and Devin (Deb) Dorn of Beatrice; one daughter, Deborah (Ray) Rinne of Lincoln; five granddaughters, Rachael Dorn of Austin, TX, Erica (Dylan) Hamel of Diller, Cassandra (Daniel) Suiter of Lincoln, Alexis Dorn of Beatrice, and Regan Rinne of Lincoln; three grandsons, Logan Dorn of Fort Collins, CO, and Chase Rinne and Colt Rinne both of Lincoln; one great-grandson, Truman Suiter of Lincoln; one brother-in-law, Arden (Roxanne) Dorn of San Antonio, TX; three sisters-in-law, Norma Foreman and Leona Trauernicht both of Lincoln, and Evalena Kelle of Adams; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Abbie Meints Linsenmeyer, her husband, Roland, who died on November 6, 2005, one sister, Ruth Linsenmeyer Buss, five brothers-in-law, Eugene Foreman, Elmer Trauernicht, Daylen Kelle, Marvin Dorn, and Laverne Dorn, niece, Nancy Kelle and nephew, Loren Schlake. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice with Pastor Ernesto Medina and Pastor Leah Lawson officiating. A family prayer service will be held at 9:45 A.M. on Thursday in the chapel of the church. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. The family will meet and greet friends and relatives on Wednesday from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Fox Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice.
