Description	:	Jack R. Stroh, 78, of Fremont died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. He was born Aug. 10, 1923, in Hooper. He grew up in Hooper and was a graduate of Hooper High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from Dec. 8, 1942, and March 12, 1946, and served in the Asiatic Pacific. He attended Midland College in Fremont, The University of Wisconsin, Depaul University in Chicago and received him bachelor of science degree in radiological technology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He grew up in Hooper and was a graduate of Hooper High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from Dec. 8, 1942, and March 12, 1946, and served in the Asiatic Pacific. He attended Midland College in Fremont, The University of Wisconsin, Depaul University in Chicago and received him bachelor of science degree in radiological technology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He married Mary Joy Jenkins April 23, 1949, in Fremont. He was employed at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County (now Fremont Area Medical Center) as an X-Ray technologist until retiring Sept. 1, 1986. His spouse preceded him in death March 12,1997. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the Nebraska Society of Radiologic Technologists. Survivors include: two daughters, Therese (Mrs. LeRoy) Ingraham of Omaha and Susan (Mrs. Michael) Cruse of Lincoln; and five grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister. (Virginia Frances Stroh Carlson, 1919 -1994) There is no funeral or visitation. It was his wish that his body be donated for medical study.
