Description	:	Mrs. Martha Ann McCreary, wife of Rev. George McCreary, passed away at the family home southeast of Curtisville Friday forenoon, death ending an illness of several months. Death was due to infirmities incident t her advanced age and for the past week she had been failing. Early this spring the McCreary home was destroyed by fire, Mrs. McCreary being in poor health at that time and she failed rapidly following that calamity. George McCreary, passed away at the family home southeast of Curtisville Friday forenoon, death ending an illness of several months. Death was due to infirmities incident t her advanced age and for the past week she had been failing. Early this spring the McCreary home was destroyed by fire, Mrs. McCreary being in poor health at that time and she failed rapidly following that calamity. They had moved into a new home which replaced the old one about ten days ago. For 65 years, Mrs. McCreary resided in Tipton county with her husband and she was one of the lived Christian women of the community. Grandma McCreary, as she was known to all, was a real neighbor and her kindnesses had been spread in many homes. Her husband, George, is one of the pioneer Quaker ministers of this county and is in poor health. Mrs. McCreary, whose maiden name was Martha Ann Dunn, was born in Switzerland county and came to Tipton county with her husband sixty-five years ago. She was a life-long member of the Friends church and a woman who loved home and family and friends. Besides the aged husband, Mrs. McCreary Is survived by four sons; Edward of Elwood; Milo of Indianapolis; Clarence residing near Elwood; and Norval, residing near Windfall. A fifth son, Henderson, is deceased. Following the death the body was taken to a mortuary in Elwood to prepare It for burial, being returned to the home Friday afternoon where it will lie in state until the hour of the funeral
