Description	:	OBITUARY Martha Craig was born in Ayshire, Scotland, October 24, 1837, and came to Illinois in July 1855. She was married on May 2d, 1856, to Thomas Craig and joined the church the year after. She was the mother of ten children, three sons and seven daughter, six of whom are living, four having died in their infancy. She departed this life on March 13, 1903, at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 20 days, and was buried in the Americus Cemetery, Tuesday, March 16, 1903. She came with her husband and family to Americus, Nov. 9, 1866, and settled on a farm west of town. For the last twenty years or more, she has been mentally unbalanced and has been kept at the county farm, until the last two years she has been kept at the asylum at Osawatomie. The relatives and friends held a short services at the Wise undertaking rooms Tuesday before interring the body. The services were conducted by Rev. Wilson of the U.P. Church. A considerable attendance was present and several vehicles followed the remains to the cemetery. -Americus Greeting, Thursday, March 19, 1903; page 4, column 3 The remains of Mrs. Thomas Craig arrived Monday afternoon. Short services were conducted by Rev. F. W. Wilson assisted by Rev. F. H.
