N. Robison started for Colorado Springs, Colorado, last Friday, where they expect to remain for a while, at least, for the benefit of Mrs. Robison's health. We trust that their hopes may be more than realized and that they may soon return to our midst with Mrs. R's health fully restored. --Mr. S. N. Robison returned last Sunday night with the corpse of his deceased wife, who died at Colorado Springs, Colorado, on the Friday preceding at 6 o'clock p.m. The body was conveyed from Shelbina to the residence of Mrs. Robison's father, Mr. Levin Duncan, where the bereaved parents and other relatives were privileged to look upon the silent form of the beloved one. The remains were brought to this place and interred in the Odd Fellows' cemetery on Monday. An appropriate funeral discourse was delivered at the M.E. church South by Rev. W. M. Wainright. The Master said, "Come unto me ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Our tenderest sympathies are drawn out toward the bereaved and afflicted ones. Obituary for Martha Ellen Duncan Robison Martha Ellen Duncan was born in Shelby County, Missouri, March 23rd, 1855; was married to S. N. Robison November 19th, 1873. Last January she contracted a cold which resulted in pulmonary consumption. After trying various remedies, all without success, her husband took her to Colorado Springs, Colorado, hoping that a change of climate would be beneficial; but this failed to arrest the disease and on the evening of July 21,1882, in Colorado Springs, she passed away, being 27 years 4 months and 3 days old. Although she had never connected herself with any church those who knew her well, and conversed with her after she saw that death was approaching, firmly believe that she died in full hope for a better life. Her remains were brought back to Shelbyville by her sorrowing husband and on Monday evening, July 31st, were buried in the Odd Fellows' [Shelby Memorial] Cemetery to await the general resurrection. The funeral service which was at the M.E. church, South, was attended by a very large congregation of sympathizing friends. May the blessing of our Heavenly Father rest upon the afflicted husband and motherless babe. --W. M.
