May their future be one of happiness, unmixed with gloom or sorrow, is the benediction of the Herald [Shelby County Herald]. S. N. Robison Dead S. N. Robison died at the County Infirmary yesterday morning after a long illness of Bright's disease with complications. Deceased was born near Cary, Wyandotte County, Ohio, May 12, 1849, and was therefore aged 66 years, 3 months and 13 days at the time of his death. He came to Shelby County [Missouri] in April 1865 and with the exception of five years spent in Kansas had since resided here. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. H. W. Huffman of Chicago; Mrs. Samuel Smythe of Boicourt, Kansas; and Mrs. Robert Ash of Canada; one son, Leslie Robison of Sanford, Nebraska; one brother, O. P. Robison of Quincy; two sisters, Mrs. William McMaster and Mrs. Frank Hatcher of in and near Shelbyville. Short funeral services will be held at the grave in the I.O.O.F. [Shelby Memorial] Cemetery this afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D. Cunningham of Bethel. (Contributed by MO Gal)
