She was also preceded in death by her husband, Selby Lawrence Bittinger and her son-in-law, Junior Guthrie. Martha was a homemaker. She loved collecting family memories. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Guthrie, Oakland; four grandchildren, Christopher Guthrie, Christine Guthrie, Tonia Guthrie and Sonia Moreland; eight great grandchildren.
