Read More	IDAHO FALLS, ID - Martha Kathleen Brown Osment passed away January 27, 2015 in Idaho Falls, ID. She had been in the care of her son Mark and her daughter-in-law Rita for the last 2 years. She will be sorely missed by her family and those who knew her. The staff at her assisted living facility became attached to her and said she was always the kindest person with a sweet smile and eager to help those around her. She was born June 12, 1928, in Cerro Gordo, NC. After graduating from Cerro Gordo High School in 1947, she moved to Charlotte, NC where she met her husband Guy Wesley Osment. In 1949 they married. With both being the youngest of ten children, coming from rural environments, and growing up in strong faith-based families, they had most things in common. Rarely did you see one without the other. Until Guy's death in 1992 their marriage truly was a joined-at-the-hip coupling. Always strengthened by their faith, she and Guy were founding members of East Cooper Baptist Church, where she was active as long as her health allowed. She was very proud of the success and outreach of East Cooper Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Rick Osment currently in Beaufort, SC, Mark Osment and his wife Rita in Idaho Falls, ID and Scott Osment in Awendaw, SC. She had five grandchildren; Anthony Osment in Charleston, SC., Anna Osment in Atlanta, GA., Michael Heidi in Denver, CO., Amie Osment in Mt. Pleasant, SC., and Paul Radford and his wife Amy in Rigby, ID. She had three great-grandchildren; Holden Radford, Jackson Radford, and Lilah Rose Osment. She will be buried beside her husband in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens at a future date.
