She had been ill since January. Born March 27, 1916 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Otto A. and Mary Engelhardt (Luplow). Mrs. Lower moved to Leetonia in 1938. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbiana and its Philo Sunday school class. She was preceded in death Dec. 12, 1991 by her husband, Wilson S. Lower, whom she married April 10, 1937. Survivors include two sons, Paul Lower and Wilmer Lower, both of Leetonia; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Becky) Williamson of Greenford and Louise Swander of Springboro, Pa; a brother, Otto :Sonny" Luplow of Canfield; and five grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Etta Kurtz, Frances Schmidt, Marie Heston and Esther Ulrich. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Seeder-Mong and Beck Funeral Home of Columbiana with Dr. Ronald L. Huff officiating. Burial will be in the Columbiana Cemetery.
