Description	:	Mildred Wilson Branyon, 89, of Anderson passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born October 6, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Prue Wilson and the late Marjorie Clark Wilson. She graduated from Girls High School and was married to the late Prue Branyon, Jr. She was in retail management at Meyers Arnold which later became Uptons until her retirement. Read More	Mildred Wilson Branyon, 89, of Anderson passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born October 6, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Prue Wilson and the late Marjorie Clark Wilson. She graduated from Girls High School and was married to the late Prue Branyon, Jr. She was in retail management at Meyers Arnold which later became Uptons until her retirement. Her retail career started in 1944 as a corsetier for Gallant Belk. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Ron Branyon and Jim (Carla) Branyon of Anderson; daughters, Pam Davis, of Starr, and Marjorie (Ken) Dunn, of Belton; sisters, Dianne (Don) James, of Honea Path and Linda (Wallace) Locke of Belton; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Leland and Wendell Wilson and sisters, Eva Lee Whitmire and Juanita Clinkscales. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Monday, September10, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Ken Whitt officiating and special speakers Jake Branyon and Guy King. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Chrissy Madden, 212 H.H. Foster Drive, Iva, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Bible Baptist Church, 509 Old Asbury Road, Anderson, SC 29625. The family would like to thank Jessica Latimer and Nasheema Henderson at Ellenburg Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Mildred.
