She was born on Nov. 17, 1913, to William M. and Maria E. (Giesbrecht) Buss. She was the middle of three daughters. On April 28, 1932, she was united in marriage to David Butler Gould. They were married for 51 years. On March 10, 1984, she married Algernon Brackle and they were married for 24 years. Martha is survived by her two children, son David B. Read More	************************************* Martha (Buss) Gould Brackle, 101, of Beatrice, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Beatrice. She was born on Nov. 17, 1913, to William M. and Maria E. (Giesbrecht) Buss. She was the middle of three daughters. On April 28, 1932, she was united in marriage to David Butler Gould. They were married for 51 years. On March 10, 1984, she married Algernon Brackle and they were married for 24 years. Martha is survived by her two children, son David B. Gould II and wife Janet, and daughter Marie E. Wilson; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three step children, Ronald and Richard Brackle and Mary Kay Bedlan and their families; and her younger sister, Bertha McKellips. After the death of her husband David, Martha founded "Sharing and Caring in Grief" an organization which continues to this day. She belonged to numerous civic and social organizations, and was named as an Admiral in the Nebraska Navy. Her grandfather donated the land for the First Trinity Lutheran Church northwest of Beatrice, and she was a lifelong and loyal member of the Lutheran church. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beatrice, with Rev. Douglas Irmer officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice. Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul Lutheran Church radio broadcast in care of the mortuary. Condolences may be left online at www.harmanwrightmortuary.com.
