Description	:	Martin Anthony Ewing, Jr., a long-time Caroline County resident, died Friday evening, May 8, 2015, when his motorcycle he was riding went off the road. He was 48 years old. Born in Easton, MD on January 18, 1967, Marty was the son of Martin Anthony Ewing (Brooke) of Cordova, MD and Linda H. Gleaton (Greg) of Raymondville, MO. Marty was a sawyer for many years at Johnson's Logging of Easton. He was an avid hunter and waterman. He was born a 100 years too late for the life he would have liked to have lead. He was 48 years old. Born in Easton, MD on January 18, 1967, Marty was the son of Martin Anthony Ewing (Brooke) of Cordova, MD and Linda H. Gleaton (Greg) of Raymondville, MO. Marty was a sawyer for many years at Johnson's Logging of Easton. He was an avid hunter and waterman. He was born a 100 years too late for the life he would have liked to have lead. He loved and was loved by many. He will be sadly missed. In addition to his mother and father and step-parents, Marty is survived by a son, Christopher Ewing of Federalsburg, MD; a daughter, Madison Ewing of Cordova; a granddaughter, Melanie Ewing of Federalsburg; three brothers: Billy Ewing of Easton, Shane Young of Peoria, AZ, Timmy Ewing of Easton, and Cory Gleaton of Denton; his long-time girlfriend, Millie Janson of Denton; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 13th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11 before the service. The interment will be in the Greenmount Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Hillsboro, MD.
