Description	:	Obituary The Tipton Conservative August 12, 1896 BUSIER-Martin Busier was born in Dauphin county , Pa., January 23,1812, and died at Tipton, Iowa, August 8, 1896, aged 84 years, 6 months and 26 days. He married Catharine Farling in 1837 and four children were born to them, one of which died in infancy, Martin L. Busier, a son, died in the 1891. One son, W. G. Busier, and one daughter, Mary E. He married Catharine Farling in 1837 and four children were born to them, one of which died in infancy, Martin L. Busier, a son, died in the 1891. One son, W. G. Busier, and one daughter, Mary E. Larick, survive their father. Mr. Busier moved from Pennsylvania to Cedar county, Iowa, in 1850. He married Almena Soper August 20, 1860, who died August 7, 1875. During the last 20 years of his life he resided with his son, William, but in this time he frequently visited his daughter, Mary E. Larick, in the state of Nebraska, where his business interests are located. He was confirmed and admitted into the Reformed church when a young man, and though he later became indifferent to the church and spiritual matters, he never opposed the church of Jesus Christ, and in the last decade of his life he manifested renewed interest in the things which pertain to the life beyond. For integrity and honesty Grandfather Busier cannot be called to account, and he died expressing a confident hope of a better and happier life in the great hereafter. The funeral was conducted from the Reformed church by pastor, Rev. Huntsicker, on Monday, the 10th inst., and the remains laid to rest in the Wright cemetery, southeast of Tipton.
