Baldwin, son of Frank and Fredericka Enevoldsen Baldwin, was born January 30, 1918 at Dannebrog, Nebraska. He departed from this life on August 26, 1986 at Farwell, Nebraska at the age of 68 years. Martin received his education at Dannebrog and grew to manhood on the family farm in that area. As a young man he was employed in farm work in Iowa before his marriage. On Jun 2, 1940, Martin was united in marriage to Agnes Anderson at St. Paul. The couple first made their home in Iowa for a short time before returning to St. Paul. In 1941 the couple moved to a farm in the Dannebrog area and then in 1943 they moved to a farm in the Farwell area where they resided the rest of their married life. Agnes passed away in March of 1985 and Martin continued to make his home on the farm. On April 23, 1986, Martin married Irene Keseor at Loup City. The couple made their home on a farm near Farwell. Martin was a member of the United Methodist Church of St. Paul. He is survived by his wife, Irene, of Farwell; two sone, Delvin of farwell and Irvin of Cairo; a brother, Arnold Baldwin of Grand Island; six grandchildren, three step-children, ralph Kezeor of Lexington, Mrs. Leo (Janet) Fair of Bloomington, Minnesota and Julie Kezeor of Grand Island and seven step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Agnes, a brother, Ralph Baldwin and one sister Myrtle Sena Petersen.
