Description	:	Martin was the son of Benjamin Franklin McKay, and Isabell Nellis McKay. He had more than a dozen sibblings, and was reared in Tionesta, PA, Ashtabula area, and Newaygo County, Michigan. He came back to Ashtabula, to marry Dora Mason. They then lived in the Painesville, Ohio area. They had ten children. Martin was not the best provider, and spent much of his life hopping trains.
