Description	:	Marvin Edwin Pattison, the son of Arthur and Grace (Russell) Pattison, was born February 16, 1949, in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, at the age of 67. Marv received his education in the Superior, Everly and Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School in 1968. In 1970, he was united in marriage to Kolleen Feddersen. Read More	Marvin Edwin Pattison, the son of Arthur and Grace (Russell) Pattison, was born February 16, 1949, in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, at the age of 67. Marv received his education in the Superior, Everly and Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville High School in 1968. In 1970, he was united in marriage to Kolleen Feddersen. Following their marriage the couple made their home in Superior where they began raising their family and Marv was employed at John Morrell and Company for 13 1/2 years. Then he owned and operated a meat locker in Superior, Iowa, for five years. Later he was employed for nine years with Ferguson Landscaping in Spirit Lake, Iowa, where he managed the Lawn Irrigation Department. Then Marv began his own lawn irrigation business, which he operated for 25 years, until declining health forced his retirement in 2015. In his younger years in his leisure time he enjoyed drag racing in Humboldt, Iowa, where he won several trophies. He also enjoyed driving his brother Merle's racecar at the Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minnesota. Most important to Marv was hanging out and spending time with family and friends, especially his two special friends, Bryan and Ann Moffitt. Marv attended Crossroads Community Church in Estherville. Left to cherish Marv's memory are his wife of 46 years, Kolleen of Graettinger; two sons, Shawn of Graettinger, Jerred of Oelwein, Iowa; his mother, Grace Olesen of Estherville; grandchildren, Jenna Molacek of Colorado, Taylor Pattison of Mason City, Iowa, Levi of Algona, Iowa, Mylee of Graettinger; two brothers, Mike (Linda) Pattison and Merle Pattison both of Estherville and two sisters, Maureen Hatland of Estherville and Valerie (Pattison) Bergson of Dorset, England. Marv has been preceded in death by his father, Arthur; step-father, Orville Olesen; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Louie and Ruth Feddersen and brother's-in-law, Duane Hatland and Larry Feddersen.
