Description	:	Mary A. Peitzman has left us on July 14, 2016 to join her Heavenly Father and her Savior Jesus Christ. Mary was born on November 6, 1922 to Orland and Frieda Triplett in Woodbine, Iowa. She graduated from Woodbine High and return to teach for a year in a one room schoolhouse. She was married to Wayne M. Peitzman on June 10, 1942 and raised eight children on what is now a Century Farm west of Grimes. Mary was the matriarch of the family and was a wonderful cook and gardener. Mary was born on November 6, 1922 to Orland and Frieda Triplett in Woodbine, Iowa. She graduated from Woodbine High and return to teach for a year in a one room schoolhouse. She was married to Wayne M. Peitzman on June 10, 1942 and raised eight children on what is now a Century Farm west of Grimes. Mary was the matriarch of the family and was a wonderful cook and gardener. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary, with whom she resided, Kent (Marlys), Elwin (Mary Jo, deceased) and daughters, Lorene Harris (Rudy), Ilene Bartos (Ron), Julie Robb (Jonnie) and Valarie Bower (Greg). Mary had 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Andrew, two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be at Brandt's Funeral Home in Dallas Center, Iowa on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service is planned at the Presbyterian Church in Grimes on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 beginning at 11:00 am with a luncheon planned after the service. Internment of cremains will be at Sunnyhill Cemetery in Grimes at 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to The Food Pantry of Grimes in loving memory of Mary.
