Sisco- Mary Agnes Merrill, was born December 20, 1852, near Columbus, Ohio, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Wolfe at Auburn, Nebr., June 14, 1937, at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 24 days. Sisco- Mary Agnes Merrill, was born December 20, 1852, near Columbus, Ohio, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Wolfe at Auburn, Nebr., June 14, 1937, at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 24 days. On March 21, 1869, she was united in marriage to Hiram J. Sisco, and to this union six children were born, one passing away in infancy. The five who survive her, and mourn the lost of a mother, are, Joseph E. Sisco of Lewiston and Geo. H. Sisco of Burchard; Mrs. John Campbell of Pawnee City and Mrs. William A. Wolfe of Auburn. Mr. Sisco preceded her in death, June 8, 1931, and saw the growth of the county and helped in the development. Until Mr. Sisco's death, her Nebraska life was spent on the home farm northwest of Burchard. Mrs. Sisco lived a useful and abundant life of love and service to her family and home, and her death was a great shock to her family and many friends. The funeral service was held at Wherry's Chapel last Thursday afternoon, Rev. W.N. Wallis officiating. Burial was in the Burchard Cemetery.
