Mrs George Schram Musette Sisco, daughter of Hiram and Mary Sisco, was born in Lee county, Ill, Oct. 25, 1874, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Byron Lane in Beatrice Aug. 15, 1942, at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 20 days. She came to Nebraska with her parents at the age of seven and lived on a farm northwest of Burchard, where she grew to womanhood. Jan. 31, 1893, she was united in marriage to George Schram. To the union three children were born, Mrs. Charles Bachenberg of Crab Orchard, Mrs. Byron Lane of Beatrice, and Lynn Schram of Lincoln. Besides her husband and children, she leaves to mourn her passing five grandchildren, two brothers, Joe Sisco of Lewiston and George Sisco of Burchard, and two sisters, Mrs. John Campbell of Pawnee City and Mrs. Agnes Wolfe of Auburn. She united with the Methodist church in Lewiston, April 9, 1911, and was an active member of the church and also her neighborhood club as long as her health permitted. She was a cheerful companion and a kind and loving mother, always putting her children and her home before all else. She possessed a rare virtue-she was never known to have said an unkind thing about any one. Her sunny disposition and pleasant smile will be missed by a host of friends as well as loved ones. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 18, at the Methodist church in Lewiston, Rev. C. E. Catlett officiating. Pallbearers were John Searcey, C. A. Monzingo, Leonard Richardson, William Kinghorn, Sr., Herman Monroe and W. D. Dinnis. Mrs. Delores Davis of Auburn, a niece of the deceased, sang "Face to Face" during the service. Burial was made in the Lewiston Cemetery. The Pawnee Republican, Aug. 27, 1942.
