Description	:	---OBITUARY--- MARY AHART-YOUNG-WILLIS Final rites were held Saturday, April 28, 1979, from the R.L.D.S. Church in Woodbine, Iowa, for Mary Willis, 100, who died Tuesday, April 25. Elders Frances Harper, Sr. and Ward Sherer officiated at the services. Music was furnished by Burton Moores, with Mrs. Martha Harper as organist. Bearers were Benny Fewins, Duane Blake, Wayne Leonard, Don Leonard, Harold Wohlers and Doug Dewaele. Interment was in the Woodbine Cemetery, Woodbine, Iowa. Mary Ahart-Young-Willis was born in Radolfzel, Baden, Germany, daughter of Enoch Ignatius "Ignaz" and Katherine Harder-Ahart, on November 25, 1878, and died at the Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa, on April 25, 1979. She grew to womanhood near Dow City, Dunlap, and Woodbine. She married George Young of Woodbine, on February 20, 1902. George passed away in 1939. She is survived by by five children, Edna McElwain, Irene Ondrak, Howard Young, Helen Leonard and Iona Hiller. In 1943, she was married to Lorenzo Dow "Ren" Willis, who died in 1948. In addition to her five children, she is survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
