Description	:	The Sunnyside Sun, July 25, 1974: Former resident succumbs, 84 Mrs. Mary Hamilton, 84, a long time Sunnyside resident, died late Monday evening, July 15 at the Tacoma General Hospital. Mrs. Hamilton was born at Drain, Ore., where she spent her early years and received her education. Following her marriage to Fred Graham, they lived in Goldendale until his death. In 1915 she married James Hamilton and together continued to live in Goldendale until 1919 when they moved to Dayton and then to Pendleton, Ore. Read More	The Sunnyside Sun, July 25, 1974: Former resident succumbs, 84 Mrs. Mary Hamilton, 84, a long time Sunnyside resident, died late Monday evening, July 15 at the Tacoma General Hospital. Mrs. Hamilton was born at Drain, Ore., where she spent her early years and received her education. Following her marriage to Fred Graham, they lived in Goldendale until his death. In 1915 she married James Hamilton and together continued to live in Goldendale until 1919 when they moved to Dayton and then to Pendleton, Ore. In 1925. the Hamilton's moved to Sunnyside where her husband was associated with the Pacific Power and Light co. until his retirement in 1961. They continued to make their home in Sunnyside until moving to Seattle last fall. Mrs. Hamilton was an active member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and in her early years was also active in the Women's Club, Garden Club and Women's Republican Club. Survivors include her husband James of Federal Way, a daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Amundson of Seattle, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Fred O. Graham Aug, 2, 1972. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 20 at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Roger Williams officiating. Sacred selections "The Battle's Over" and "Rock of Ages" were sung by the congregation, accompanied by Mrs. DeEtta Anderson. Casket bearers were Roger Amundson, George Graham, Dan Tuttle, Steve Amundson, Sam Tuttle and Tom Hague. Those wishing to honor her memory may contribute to the memorial fund of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or the Valley Memorial Hospital. Burial was in the Sunnyside Memorial Park under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home. ************************************************************ Married Fred Earl Graham on September 20, 1908 in Yoncalla, Douglas Co., Oregon. Married James Christopher Hamilton on August 6, 1915 in Goldendale, Klickitat Co., Washington.
