Description	:	Mary Alice Welch, daughter of Turner and Mae Mitchell, was born at Langley, Kansas, 04 April 1893 and passed away in her sleep at her home in Marquette, 13 April 1957, at the age of 64 years and 9 days. Alice was a member of the Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge. In August of 1913 she was united in marriage to Harry Hammond Harris. To this union 6 children were born. Allene. She is survived by two sons, Glenn Harris and George C. Harris; three daughters, Mrs. Allene Terry, Mrs. Florine Alstatt; one step-daughter, Mrs. Nina Berg; 33 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
