They will make their home at Germantown, where Mr. Griffith is engaged in business. Funeral Notice Frederick News-Post - July 9, 1943 Funeral services were held at 11 a. m. Thursday for Mrs. Alice Waters Griffith, native and former resident of Germantown, who died in a Baltimore Hospital Tuesday after a prolonged illness. The services were held at the Neelsville Presbyterian church near Germantown, with Rev. William B. Waters of Rockville officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Griffith, who was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Perrie E. Waters of Germantown, is survived by her husband, C. Dade Griffith, two daughters, Miss Ellen Griffith of Rocky Mount, N. C., and Miss Elizabeth Griffith of Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Butler of Baltimore, and Mrs. Beverly Davis of Rocky Mount. N. C.: two brothers, Clinton Waters of Baltimore, and Richard L. Waters of Carson City, Nev. Note: Mary was re-interred at Monocacy Cemetery from her original burial place at Neelsville, Mont. Co., MD on July 27, 2006.
