Description	:	Gant, Mary Almira Allen - Died, the wife of our esteemed brother, Samuel Gaunt, at her home near Siam, Taylor county, Iowa, Feb 5, 1895. Mary Almira Allen was born in Marshall co., Ill., Jan 13, 1838. She emigrated to Taylor county, Ia., in August, 1857, and was married to Samuel Gaunt March 30, 1859. She was the mother of eleven children, seven of which still survive to mourn their loss. A few appropriate remarks were made by Elder Wm Cobb of Bedford, at the residence, after which the remains were interred in the Siam cemetery, Feb 7th.
