As a girl she moved with her parents to Nebraska. She grew to womanhood near Angus. On July 4, 1903, she was united in marriage to Oliver M. Grossman. To this union four children were born, Hazel Marie, who died in infancy, and Pansy, Nellie and Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husband, April 12, 1937. As a girl she moved with her parents to Nebraska. She grew to womanhood near Angus. On July 4, 1903, she was united in marriage to Oliver M. Grossman. To this union four children were born, Hazel Marie, who died in infancy, and Pansy, Nellie and Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husband, April 12, 1937. She was a member of the Edgar Methodist Church and the Woman's Society of Christian Service. "Annie," as she was known died at the Hastings State Hospital, Sept. 10, 1964, at the age of 85 years and 10 months. She is survived by two daughters, Pansy Overturf of Angus, Nellie Jackson of Edgar, one son, Wallace Grossman of Bellevue, one brother, Wm. G. Taylor of Edgar and one sister, Zoe Lee Taylor of Hastings, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept 12 at 2 p.m. in the Edgar Methodist Church with Rev. Lincoln Justice officiating. Mrs. Mary Anna Gunn and Mrs. Lovena Beck, accompanied by Mrs. Eileen Mikkelsen at the organ, sang "Nearer My God To Thee" and "Abide With Me," Pallbearers were Merle Shafer, O.F. Gustafson, Roy Burkett, Otha skinner, Vernon Melvin and Marvin Elifritz. Burial was made in the Edgar Cemetery, with the Urbauer Funeral Home of Edgar in charge.
