She was a long-time employee of the Angus Post Office and served as postmistress the past five years. Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 1975 at the Urbauer Funeral Home, Edgar, with the Rev. Victor Schwarz officiating. Burial was in the Edgar Cemetery. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, May 8, 1975; pg. 10 Pansy Faye Grossman Overturf was born December 19, 1905, on a farm east of Angus, Nebraska, to Oliver and Mary Ann Grossman. She was a member of the Angus Church of Christ. She was married to Maurice Overturf on November 14, 1928. To this union one son, Billy, was born. She lived most of her life near Angus. The last five years she was postmistress of Angus. She passed away at the Nuckolls County Hospital May 4, 1975, at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 15 days. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Maurice; son, Billy and his wife, Ellen Overturf; two granddaughter (sic), Pamella Flamig of Lincoln and Kay Knutson of Oak; a brother, Wallace Grossman of Bellevue and a sister, Nellie Jackson of Edgar. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 6, at 2 p.m. in the Urbauer Funeral Chapel, Edgar, with Rev. Victor Schwarz officiating. Organist Vergene Gunn accompanied Carol Penner as she sang, "Old Rugged Cross" and Merna Kinnison who sang, "In The Garden". Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery.
