Mary Ann Burt was born in Ontario, Canada July 20, 1867 and passed to her abode in Eternity April 5, 1929, while in a Norfolk hospital, at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 15 days. Read More	Mrs. Albin Nihart is Summoned by Death Friends were grieved to learn of the passing of Mrs. Albin Nihart at the Lutheran hospital at Norfolk on Friday, following an extended illness. Mary Ann Burt was born in Ontario, Canada July 20, 1867 and passed to her abode in Eternity April 5, 1929, while in a Norfolk hospital, at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 15 days. From Canada she went to Illinois, then to Iowa and in 1884 she came to Knox County, Nebraska, where in 1887, she was married to Albin Nihart. Two children were born of this wedlock, a son, who died in infancy and a daughter, Ethel, who fell asleep January 5, 1929. She is survived by her husband, two brothers, George and Will Burt of Creighton and two sisters, Mrs. H.E. Olmstead of Norfolk and Mrs. Fred Miles of Holyoke, Colo. Mrs. Nihart had been in poor health for a number of years, more or less. But since last October she had been bedfast much of the time. While loving hands and medical skill ministered, she never seemed to recover from the shock to her already depleted system, when she lost her beloved daughter, Ethel. She confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Methodist church in 1916 and maintained her trust in her Savior to the end. Having traveled to where life's evening approaches the rose tinted sunset and charmed with the beautiful prospects of a harbor of rest, she bid farewell to pain and sorrow and waved her final salute to all things mortal. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Sunday afternoon with Rev. Benj. Kuhler presiding. A great many friends gathered to pay their last respects to the deceased. The remains were interred in Greenwood cemetery. To the sorrowing husband and bereaved relatives we assure our heartfelt sympathy. ...The Creighton News April 1929
