Read More	CRISFIELD NATIVE DIED IN BALTIMORE Mrs. Mary Annie Somers Was In Hospital There Three Months Funeral Services This Friday Afternoon Mrs. Mary Annie Somers died in the Marine Hospital in Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon, after having been a patient there for about three months. She was 49 years of age. She was the wife of Mr. James T. Somers, and the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Marshall. Mrs. Somers had been ill for some time, and as her condition did not improve, entered the hospital in Baltimore for treatment. She was very patient under her suffering, and while her death was not unexpected, it came as a shock to her many relatives and friends. A woman of fine personality, she had be her cheerfulness and helpfulness endeared herself to neighbors and friends, and made a warm place in their hearts for herself. Many expressions of sympathy have been tendered to the bereaved relatives from those who held her in such high esteem and regard. Her body was brought to Crisfield by the Hubbard Funeral Home and reposes at the hone of her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lawson, on Main street. Funeral services will be held in Asbury church this, Friday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, assisted by Rev. Lowry. Interment will be in the family lot in Asbury cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norman Mason, Burns Sterling, Arthur Hinman, Archie Sterling, Edwin Sterling, and Thomas Maddrix. Mrs. Sterling is survived by her husband, three children, Leroy Sterling, of this city, Albert P. Sterling of the U.S. Army, and Mrs. Elizabeth Lawson, and three step-children, Mr. Howard Somers, Mrs. Lula Mae Milbourne, and Mrs. Beatrice Lawson, all of Crisfield. Three sisters, Mrs. Virgie M. Mister, Mrs. Wilda Poulson and Mrs. Nellie Trader, and two brothers, Mr. Andrew Marshall and Mr. Stephen Marshall, also survive. The Crisfield Times, Crisfield, Maryland, Friday, March 2, 1945, p. 1
