Description	:	Funeral services were held in the Methodist church Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Albert L. Belding of West Sixth Street, Villisca, who died at her home at 1:20 p.m. Friday afternoon. She had been ill for the last six months. She was 63 years of age. The Rev. W. F. Clayburg and the Rev. L. B. Carpenter, assisted by the Rev. John Cunningham of Cumberland, Iowa, who is an old friend of the Belding family, conducted the services. Pall bearers were Louis Enarson, George Kuhn, George T. Pratt, L. T. Burial was in the villisca Cemetery. Mary Bristow, daughter of Harlan and Kate Bristow, was born six miles north of Corning, September 9, 1871. In 1889 she moved with her parents to Carl, Iowa, where she lived until her marriage on January 1, 1890 to Albert L. Belding. To this union seven children were born. One daughter, Mrs. Ester Martin preceded her mother in death in June 1933. Mr. and Mrs. Belding lived on a far until 1897 when they moved to Villisca. From here they moved to Atlantic in 1914 where they lived until 1918. They then returned to the home plate in Villisca where they have lived ever since. When a girl of 16, Mrs. Belding united with the Baptist Church and about 8 years later she united with the Methodist church in which she retained her membership until death. Mrs. Belding was a member of the W.C.T.U., the Degree of Honor, and until failing health caused her to put the work into other hands, she was superintendent of the home department of the Methodist Sunday school. She is soviet by her husband, Albert Belding, one brother, Jas Bristow of Massena, Iowa, six children, Mrs. Elsie Delaney, Lorna and Dorothy Belding of Villisca, Mrs. Edna Pote of Bridgewater, Iowa, Mrs. Leota Lewis and Elmer Belding of Talent, Oregon, seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
