Stiverson at Wray, Colorado, February 14, 1929, at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 22 days. At the age of sixteen years she came with her parents to Piatt county (sic), Ills., where they made their home. She was married to Chas. L. Elledge February 12, 1890, moving at once to a farm near Superior, where she made her home until the death of her husband six years ago. To this union two children were born: Freda of Superior, and Esther who died at the age of two years. She also leaves to mourn her departure, three brothers: M.L. of Wray, Colo.; G.W. of Monticello, Ill.; J.U. of Spokane, Wash.; one sister Elizabeth Bloomingdale of Decatur, Ills.; besides many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. At an early age she gave her heart to God becoming a member of the Methodist church. Ten years ago Mrs. Elledge had a severe attack of blood poisoning which with complications left her an invalid, but she never lost faith, always remaining patient and loving in spite of her affliction. The funeral was held from the M.E. church at Superior February 17, conducted by Rev. V.R. Beebe and the body was laid at rest in the Superior cemetery.
