The maiden name of the deceased was Mary Donahue, and she was born in County Cavan, Ireland, in 1831. When she was 13 years old she came to Lowell, Massachusetts. Read More	Mrs. Mary Seery died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Smith, in the Third ward, this city, Monday night, aged 80 years. The maiden name of the deceased was Mary Donahue, and she was born in County Cavan, Ireland, in 1831. When she was 13 years old she came to Lowell, Massachusetts. There she grew to womanhood and was married to Mr. Thomas Seery July 13th, 1856. In 1864 they came to Chickasaw county and settled on a farm about seven miles north of New Hampton, where they lived until fourteen years ago, when they came to make their home in New Hampton. Mr. Seery died a year ago, and since then she had lived at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Smith. The surviving children are Mrs. James Roarty, Mrs. Dan Roarty and Mrs. Smith of this city and Thomas Seery, Jr., John and James Seery of north of town. The funeral was held at St Joseph's Catholic church yesterday morning, Mass for the Dead being read by the pastor, Rev. R. Slattery, and interment was in the parish cemetery.
