Lorenzo Landon, who died of exposure during the hurricane Hazel storm. She had been ill for some months. She was 70 years of age. Mrs. Landon was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Maggie Parks Justice, and the widow of the late J. Lorenzo Landon, who died of exposure during the hurricane Hazel storm. A devoted wife and mother, her first concern was her home and family, yet she found time to participate in many other activities. She was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church, attending there as long as her health permitted, and a member of the Womens Civic Club, where she also was active. Having a very pleasing personality she made friends readily who had a great deal of affection for her and appreciated her many fine qualities. She had been a splendid neighbor, helpful, sympathetic, and her many deeds of kindness will long be remembered. Funeral services were held yesterday, Thursday, in the Hinman Funeral Home here, conducted by the Rev. J. Howard Link, pastor of Immanuel Methodist Church. Burial was in Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Surviving her are her daughter, Mrs. Archie Tyler, two sons, J. Lorenzo Landon, Jr., of Salisbury and Sgt, 1/C Fred Landon, stationed at Fort Meade, Md., four brothers, Edward Justice and Norris Justice of Washington, D. C., The Rev. Lloyd Justice of Rochester, Pa., and John Justice of Crisfield, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
